In this role, you will be advancing the organization's objectives through strategic negotiations and licensing initiatives. This is an opportunity to join our Business Management division and play a key role in supporting the success of our organization. You will collaborate closely with our Chief Technology Officers, Product Managers, and Global R&D Centers to license cutting-edge technology and data for our portfolio of 100+ products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and manage contractor, technology, and data licensing agreements to align with organizational objectives and secure favorable terms
  • Drive mutually beneficial agreements and refine contract clauses to support inbound licensing strategies
  • Ensure effective contract management by communicating obligations, maintaining accurate data, tracking milestones and risks, and facilitating renewals
  • Leverage project management expertise to align contracts with business and financial objectives
  • Evaluate contract proposals to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate with business managers, product managers, and finance teams to oversee contract requirements throughout the lifecycle
  • Foster a team-oriented environment by coordinating strategies across business units, adapting to changing objectives, and providing mentorship to team members

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software, content, IP licensing with a focus on business management
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage moderate risk projects with diverse scope
  • Emphasize attention to detail and accuracy while possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibit the ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems with little direct supervision
  • Showcase strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, along with outstanding relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to travel 10-20%of the time for strategic meetings, events and/or tradeshows
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, GIS, Information Science, or a related field

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$68,640$106,080 USD
