Manager, Financial Crime Solutions Platforms, Product Management
The Financial Crime Solutions Platforms team is looking for a Manager, FCS Platforms Product Management, to help drive delivery of our new and existing FCS products via repeatable project execution, documentation, trackability while engaging with third party partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping our customers to reduce fraud/scams, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses sound fraud platform knowledge.
Financial Crime Solutions (FCS) is a cross-functional team under Fraud & Resiliency within the Services division of Mastercard, overseeing solutions that are dedicated to safeguarding businesses and consumers from various financial crimes. Made up of our product management; data science, operations and technology partners, we have launched solutions that detect and prevent financial crime, with advanced technologies, data analysis techniques and industry best practices to identify suspicious patterns, behaviours, and transactions on a global scale.
This role presents a unique opportunity to engage with third party partners and help contribute to the ongoing success of our solutions, by streamlining workflows and standardizing operations. This role also involves financial analysis, legal compliance engagement, support of sales efforts help strengthen our position in the market and provide unique learnings in an ever-evolving landscape.
Role
• Collaborate and drive third party engagements with vendors specializing in fraud prevention, enabling our Financial Crime Solutions products to scale and add further value to our customers
• Own the centralization of third party platform knowledge, ensuring that information is accessible and up-to-date.
• Build standardized playbooks and documentation sets to facilitate repeatable and efficient delivery processes.
• Conduct financial analysis through forecasting and synergy realization to support business decisions.
• Track cost versus revenue to support the team's refinement of the sizing calculator and improve financial efficiency.
• Define sales materials and narratives, working with the GTM team to align against the overall MA product sets.
• Collaborate with wider MA team to identify opportunities and ensure progress alignment with organizational goals.
• Take accountability for the delivery of key product enhancements by partnering with third party fraud vendors and/or with Guild members to deliver (e.g. CX&D, Product Management – Technical)
• Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and surface any barriers or obstacles to deliver partnership opportunities on time and budget. Proactively communicate situation and proposed solutions to senior management
• Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation (e.g., support documents) across the Studio framework
All About You
• Strong communicator enabling third party fraud vendor collaboration and partnership opportunities to help with financial crime prevention
• Sound understanding of financial crime and the broader payments ecosystem into ongoing product management (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive, technology environment etc.)
• A data-driven approach to potential partnership opportunities that could lead to Financial Crime Solutions product enhancements, identifying areas and contributing to prioritise enhancements on the product roadmap
• Experience with fraud management platforms, capabilities and underlying technology and how this can enhance existing product functionality.
• Understand Mastercard’s business model and take key financial or commercial factors into consideration to positively influence working with third parties to deliver revenue and cost efficiency
• Leverage working knowledge of Mastercard business, systems, products and customer requirements in making fact-based business and product decisions
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences
• Lead by example with hands-on approaches to demonstrate product management excellence and share best practices
