About the Role: 

As the Manager, Product Integrity Operations, you will be responsible for designing operational programs and processes that ensure we are complying with responsible AI laws and regulations, enforcing our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Terms of Service and performing related red team testing of our models and safeguards.  You will hire and lead a team of high performing, results focused specialists and together you will partner closely with internal teams (product, engineering, legal, etc.) and external organizations globally to prevent bad actors from misusing our products and services. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a technology organization, leading global, cross-functional programs and managing operations teams within the product integrity or trust and safety space.  This role requires being able to function successfully in an ambiguous, fast evolving space and solving complex problems. You must be comfortable making unbiased, data driven, decisions and have experience creating written content and documentation.  Please note that this role may involve exposure to explicit content and topics, including those of a sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing nature. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, grow and motivate a team of analysts through coaching, career development and performance management 
  • Set goals and benchmarks to measure enforcement efficacy, identifying gaps and developing and implementing solutions
  • Develop and track metrics and KPIs related to the team's workflow, volume, response times, accuracy and overall operational effectiveness
  • Manage escalations with a fast turn-around time, provide data and content driven insights and implement solutions all while providing timely and clear updates to T&S leadership
  • Contribute to biweekly T&S policy and enforcement reports on violation trends and provide feedback to the detection team 
  • Prepare reports and reviews for senior management on enforcement program progress, for example fraud detection and enforcement, risks and resourcing needs 
  • Stay current on industry best practices for trust and safety enforcement programs

Responsibilities:

  • Attract, develop, empower, and retain top talent.
  • Manage daily team operations, resource planning and execution for a team of Product Integrity operations specialists
  • Design and implement processes for reviewing and monitoring for bad actor behavior, including proactive identification of potential harms and adversarial behavior.  
  • Develop appropriate response handling for incoming questions and concerns related to AI safety.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders in identifying best practices, new approaches and providing thought leadership for AI safety operational practices. 
  • Continuously challenge yourself and your team to learn, develop skills, and understand new technologies.
  • Communicate effectively with business customers, suppliers, and partners.

Qualifications:  

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • 7+ years managing operations teams, preferably in the trust and safety, fraud / abuse prevention or product integrity space. 
  • 5+ years leading global, cross-functional programs. 
  • Experience handling highly sensitive topics and customer concerns. 
  • Experience developing training material and reference content for operations teams.
  • Solid understanding of bad actor behavior and abuse prevention mechanisms.
  • Build an empowering team culture that results in high satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Designs clear and measurable performance metrics for the team.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency and continuous improvement, including implementing automation initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, product and engineering. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • A true passion for AI

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is between $133,000 and $247,000. Individual pay within the range is based on factors like job-related skills and experience. Total compensation also includes stock options and benefits.
