Product Marketing Manager - Vivado
This person will be responsible for all product marketing activities related to Vivado - AMD/Xilinx’s flagship FPGA design software. This includes outbound marketing strategy, sales and customer marketing collateral development and all promotional activities such as webinars, customer events, and sales training. This position requires a good technical understanding of the FPGA software, ability to learn fast and effective written/speaking communication skills to effectively elaborate the value proposition of Vivado features.
Responsibilities include managing all aspects of new product version introduction both internally with all factory stakeholders and externally by interfacing directly with customers and sales teams worldwide. Also, the person should be able to look at Vivado’s differentiated features and propose marketing campaigns to drive customer adoption of such features. Must work closely with Vivado Tech Marketing/Product Planning teams to understand the roadmap and upcoming new features.
This individual should possess unwavering customer focus, critical thinking capabilities, and ability to forge good relationship with sales and FAEs to understand their customer concerns. And it is of critical importance that the candidate is able to connect with customers directly via CBCs and such, to understand and champion the user experience.
This position can grow into a Sr. PMM role once the individual shows that they can take ownership of the product and requires minimal direction to drive the marketing of Vivado.
