About the Role

The Media Operations team is responsible for hands-on activation and optimization of digital campaigns across programmatic, social, and search platforms. This role focuses on delivering high-performing campaigns, ensuring efficiency, governance, and seamless execution across Amazon DSP, paid social, DV360, and other platforms. The Media Specialist will work on planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns for a portfolio of clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong Amazon Ads experience but also expertise across other paid media platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Execute Media Strategies: Design and implement full-funnel digital media plans across Amazon DSP, paid social, and programmatic platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk), ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
  • Campaign Setup & Management: Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, including setup, optimization, pacing, troubleshooting, and governance across Amazon Ads, paid social, and other platforms.
  • Audience Targeting & Data Utilization: Leverage first-party, third-party, and platform data to define and refine audience segmentation and cross-platform retargeting strategies.
  • Budget & Bid Strategy Management: Implement and refine bidding, pacing, and budget allocation strategies to maximize efficiency and ROI across programmatic, search, and social platforms.
  • Omnichannel Media Buying & Integration: Manage Amazon Sponsored Ads (Search, Display, Video), Amazon DSP, DV360, and The Trade Desk, ensuring integration with other paid media channels for a cohesive strategy.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Supermetrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with internal teams (Analytics, Creative, Client Strategy) to align media plans with business objectives and support client and platform partner relations.
  • Testing, Innovation & Automation: Experiment with new ad formats, automation tools, and optimization strategies to improve campaign performance, efficiency, and scalability.
About You

The essentials:

  • Digital Advertising Expertise & Growth Mindset: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Amazon Advertising, programmatic media, and paid social, with agency, publisher, or trading desk experience preferred. Passion for digital media, continuous learning, and a results-driven approach.
  • Data-Driven & Performance-Oriented: Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Supermetrics, using data to optimize campaigns and drive measurable business results.
  • Strategic Media Planning & Execution: Proven ability to develop, manage, and optimize campaigns across Amazon DSP, paid social, and programmatic platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk), with experience in bid & budget management, audience segmentation, and omnichannel integration.
  • Programmatic & Paid Social Mastery: Expertise in Amazon Ads (AMS, DSP), paid social, and programmatic buying (DV360, The Trade Desk), with a track record in campaign execution, audience targeting, and cross-platform integration.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to work cross-functionally, provide strategic recommendations, manage client and platform relationships, and mentor junior team members. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Innovation, Adaptability & Ownership: Passion for testing new strategies, leveraging automation, optimizing ad placements, and staying ahead of emerging media trends. A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
