About the Role
Monks is seeking a skilled Director of Media Strategy & Planning to lead and innovate within our Argentina team. This individual will dive deep into media and consumer research, analyze business objectives, and develop tailored media strategies. They will oversee end-to-end media operations, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure strategic excellence in all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Lead strategic decision-making across all media accounts in Argentina.
- Oversee the development and execution of cross-channel media strategies that align with client objectives.
- Provide thought leadership by staying ahead of media trends and integrating innovative technologies.
- Collaborate with content, analytics, and account teams to create holistic marketing solutions.
Client Management
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients, enhancing workflow, deliverables, and relationships.
- Manage day-to-day client communications and partner closely with the Account Director.
- Ensure financial oversight, including fee calculations, invoicing, and reconciliations.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee local media operations, ensuring alignment with global standards and processes.
- Foster team collaboration, ensuring efficiency and consistency across tools and workflows.
- Identify growth opportunities and lead initiatives to scale revenue.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of media planning and strategy experience
- Experience with hands on media execution
- Agency experience required
- Proven expertise in both digital and traditional media, including local market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in leadership, client relationships, and team management.
- Strong proficiency in strategic storytelling, analytics, and tactical execution.
- Deep understanding of measurement practices and ability to collaborate with data teams.
