Ataraxis AI is a VC-backed start-up working at the intersection of multi-modal AI, oncology, and precision medicine. We are building cutting-edge diagnostic tools to assist physicians in selecting the most optimal treatments for their patients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to engage with health systems, physicians, and key opinion leaders (KOLs), with a focus on building clinical credibility, generating clinical evidence, and expanding Ataraxis’ reputation in the industry.

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, prioritizing collaborations that generate clinical data, support evidence-based decision-making, and promote adoption of Ataraxis’ predictive diagnostic solutions.

  • Lead initiatives to source data and establish partnerships with healthcare organizations and KOLs, driving these projects end-to-end from identification and outreach to contracting, execution, and dissemination of findings.

  • Act as a trusted scientific liaison between Ataraxis and external stakeholders, including physicians, ensuring clear communication of the clinical and scientific value of the company’s diagnostics.

  • Represent Ataraxis at key industry events, conferences, and congresses, including delivering scientific presentations, fostering collaborations, and serving as the face of the company to the medical community.

  • Provide medical and scientific support during site visits, collaboration meetings, and partnership discussions. Regular travel is anticipated.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical affairs. Preferred candidates with breast cancer/oncology medical affairs experience.

  • Excellent understanding of medical research, with priority to candidates experienced in: biomarkers, medical oncology, diagnostics, medical imaging, molecular biology.

  • Published basic science, translational or clinical papers in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Strong preference given to candidates with breast cancer experience.

  • Preferred advanced degree (PhD, postdoc, MD).

  • Track record of independent work and research, intense work ethic, ability to lead projects from the beginning to end.

  • Intense work ethic, self-motivation, and a track record of initiative.

  • Demonstrated success in establishing and growing strategic relationships with physicians.
