AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: In this role, you will develop reference BIOS for AMD platforms with client CPU/APU products, enable the new features and solve BIOS related issues. THE PERSON: Self-motivated Result driven Logical thinking Creative problem solver KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and develop platform BIOS based on the silicon and board features Work closely with silicon design, platform design, Debug and validation to triage and debug system issues across the lifecycle of the product Enable Independent BIOS Vendor on new CPU/APU products Support customer engineers on OEM/ODM specific issues PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Solid knowledge of x86 system architecture Strong in C language, x86 assembly is a plus In depth knowledge of UEFI EDKII framework, experience in developing UEFI driver model Strong debug skills Excellent communication skill Familiar with PC Industry standard such as ACPI, PCIe, USB, SMBIOS, etc Experience in leading a project is a plus ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: BS-CS/BS-EE with 5+ years experience with BIOS, firmware or system software development MS-CS/MS-EE with 3+ years experience with BIOS, firmware, or system software development #LI-JG2 #LI-Hybrid Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
