AMD together we advance_ The Role: You will report to an attorney in the AMD Law Department and will be a member of the team supporting AMD’s NDA team. Your primary responsibilities will be to negotiate NDAs with AMD’s business partners. The Person: To be successful in this role we are searching for someone who is organized and motivated with experience as a paralegal in NDA transactions. You must have strong communications skill and be resourceful to take initiative on projects and follow through on commitments in a timely manner. Lastly, you need to be able to be open to learning new tools and applications (e.g. Luminance); and have excellent attention to detail, takes great care to ensure accuracy, and uses good judgment. Are you the person we are looking for? Key Responsibilities: Assisting in drafting, negotiating, and interpreting NDAs. Preparing NDA summaries and interpreting NDA obligations. Preferred Experience: Strong experience as a transactional paralegal or NDA negotiator. In-house corporate legal department experience is preferred, but not required. A proven understanding of NDA provisions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lead multiple simultaneous projects efficiently and effectively from basic to sophisticated under time pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and a positive, constructive attitude. Ability to develop creative solutions to issues; and A team-player with a good sense of humor, even when busy.
