Job Description:

As a Paid Media Planner, you will play a crucial role in translating media briefs into practical and tangible media strategies & executions for one of the world’s most well known entertainment brands. You will provide support for the senior team leads to create holistic media plans & actively clear roadblocks, while mitigating risks to ensure successful media execution. 

You must understand the client's needs in order to work on the tactical planning and execution of online and offline campaigns, reporting, and control of billing and budget processes, leading specialists and assistants. Proactively collaborating across teams, you will ensure a comprehensive media strategy that meets the needs of the client brief. You will monitor marketplace dynamics and evaluate current offerings and capabilities across industry trends, track campaign performance and recommend optimizations as necessary along with active participation in client reporting and insight sessions to ensure the effective translation of media activities to business objectives and vice versa. 

Maintaining overall accountability for team quality assurance (QA) based on published expectations and plan parameters will be essential. Your role is crucial in supporting the workflow & ensuring timely delivery effectively across various teams, such as strategy, media activation, analytics, partner representatives, client teams, account leads, and creative partners. You will foster a collaborative mindset and maintain a high attention to detail. 



Key Responsibilities: 

  • Controlling budgets and updating media planning
  • Issuing and controlling authorizations (PIs and APs), gathering specifications (material orders), and checking
  • Assisting in tactical planning in direct contact with the media outlets
  • Pacing and analyzing suggestions for Insights in reports
  • Training and leading other junior team members
  • Ensuring the use and organization of the team's Drive
  • Reviewing reports for assertiveness and opportunities
  • Ensuring alignment with other team leads
  • Support the translation of media briefs into practical and tangible media strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives. 
  • Collaborate with the Media Investment & Activation teams, ensuring comprehensive media plans with realistic execution potential
  • Proactively deliver strategic insight related to client briefs and industry trends
  • Maintain overall accountability for complete & timely plan development in line with client briefs
  • Maintain a high attention to detail in all aspects of strategic planning and project management
  • Ensure effective & efficient campaign execution in line with campaign goals
  • Participate actively in client reporting and insight sessions to ensure the effective translation of media activities to business objectives and vice versa. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 1-3 year as an assistant with experience in paid digital media
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to ensure project timelines  
  • Proven experience in translating data & insights into holistic media campaigns relative to client briefs
  • Proactive mindset, constantly anticipating questions & potential requests based on evolving client needs. 
  • Understanding of marketplace dynamics and the ability to evaluate offerings and capabilities across industry trends. 
  • Experience managing campaigns in digital platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, DV360)
  • Operational and analytical profile
  • Knowledge of AD or VBS
  • Knowledge of media tools (Instar, Monitor, Comscore and TGI)
  • Nice to have: 
    • Knowledge of broadcast TV grids, purchasing and compensation;
    • Basic/intermediate English (writing/reading for internal and external reports)
    • Experience with other offline media
