AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

This role will be pivotal in designing, operating, and iterating partner programs with key strategic partners to drive industry and partner solutions development, sales, and growth within the Greater China Region (GCR).
We are looking for a passionate, self-driven candidate for this exciting role. The successful candidate will leverage their understanding of partner ecosystems, program management, and strategic development to foster collaborations that drive business impact.
Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partner Teams and IPS Team: Work closely with SI, ISV, PSM and IPS teams to understand their business requirements and program support needs. Design and Operate Partner Programs: Develop and manage partner programs that align with key strategic partners to develop industry and GenAI solutions to drive growth.
- Iterate and Improve Programs: Continuously evaluate and enhance partner programs to ensure they meet evolving business needs and drive maximum business impact. Drive Sales and Growth: Implement strategies to drive the adoption and growth of industry and partner solutions within the GCR.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work cross-functionally with various AWS teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Global APO (AWS Partner Organization), to ensure alignment and effective execution of partner programs. Business Metrics and Reporting: Design and track business metrics to measure the impact, effectiveness, and adoption of partner programs, and report these metrics to leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain successful partnerships with the partner business teams, industry sales business unit stakeholders, and the industry partner solutions teams. Partner Interaction: Engage directly with partners to understand their challenges and requirements, translating those insights into strategic solutions.
