The product: We are building a product lifecycle management solution - Private Brands Central (PBC) for worldwide Amazon Private Brands. The goal of this platform is to reduce time to market and enhance productivity by rethinking retail development, process and product management norms. How might we 10x throughput (i.e. launch and manage more APB products), entirely automate processes and tasks with Gen AI are day-to-day challenges this team works on.

The role: We are looking for a highly technical and passionate Principal Product Manager - Technical to own and drive products within PBC. You will work with a large engineering teams and science teams, stakeholders across global marketplaces in Hardlines, Softlines, and Consumables to define requirements and gain alignment to deliver technological solutions that scale. You will set the vision and build solutions from scratch. This is a unique role that offers the opportunity to build something new, work across strategic businesses, and interact with global stakeholders. This will be no easy feat as this requires alternating between big picture thinking and obsessing with the details, identifying risks, and being a true product owner.
About the team
his team builds functional modules within the Private Brands Central Product Lifecycle Management tool to accelerate speed to market for new product development for Amazon Private Brands (APB) and reduce dwell time for specific processes. Examples include: Developing an externalized module for sourcing Request For Quotations (RFQs) from APB suppliers, launching an automated process to manage sustainability and quality related claims for APB products, and automating ASIN and Detail Page creation on Amazon systems.
