WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Program Development PM you will be responsible for assisting with early contract development efforts that deliver a transformative capability for the U.S. and its allies. You will work with other Program Managers, Business Development, sponsors, operational end-users, industry partners, and a talented cross-functional engineering team to:Develop programs from concept to inception,Assist and collaborate with BD, Engineers, and PMs to develop technical, management, and pricing strategies. You will be primarily responsible for defining competitive but realistic statements of scope, schedule and budget.Support the entire capture process,Lead the planning and transition of the program to execution,Support continued program development and expansion during execution.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent experience.You are a versatile individual who understands the aviation autonomy market, DoD program funding & development cycles, and can frame and make informed decisions regarding integrated hardware, software, and systems engineering effortsYou have experience managing a US DoD program of record. You are intimately familiar with USG acquisition process and can add immense value to a capture teamYou are an exceptional, fundamentals-driven problem solver and communicatorYou have a demonstrated record of setting and achieving goals in dynamic environments, working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to othersAbility to obtain a Secret U.S. DoD security clearance8-10 years experience in Program Management and US DoD acquisitions
