Our company's Global Safety & Quality department is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in the products and services we deliver to our customers. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for professionals who are excited about working in a software engineering environment that puts safety and quality first in software production. You will be working closely with development teams to understand current practices, support process optimization and standardization across teams, and ensure their adoption. We welcome candidates with good analytical thinking skills, who are excited about learning and communicating, and with experience relevant to the role.

You will report to the Director of the Quality Management System within the Global Safety & Quality department, and the role is hybrid - you will work in the office at least 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify target users and conceptualize process modeling ideas by identifying and prioritizing potential user’s problems in the process engineering field
  • Develop and deploy process models to support optimization and standardization for the organization
  • Support users, set up, manage, and maintain the infrastructure of the process modeling tool
  • ,

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field in Engineering
  • Experience of modern software development practices and frameworks (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, such as ISO9001 or IATF
  • Experience using process modeling/management tools
  • Experience in the automotive industry and understanding of its regulatory frameworks 
  • Mindset for ownership, growth, and a bias for progress
  • Ability to create abstract representations of complex processes and to drive alignment of roles, responsibilities, and required material and information flow with stakeholders
  • Experience working in multicultural teams and openness to various cultures
  • Deep commitment to quality
  • Professional level language proficiency in Japanese and English

  • Knowledge of ASPICE
  • Exposure to Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) 
  • Knowledge of the ISO 26262, SOTIF, or other standards for functional safety
