Overview
Imagery can contain vast amount of information which can be exploited and used in many ways. We are looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Product Engineer to use remote sensing knowledge and skills to develop new workflows and solutions. You will use your insight, creativity and technical expertise to design and implement imagery workflows. Spatial analysis, data visualization, and coupled with strong communication skills are all necessary to succeed in this role, which will drive our company and our users to new levels of insight through Esri technology. As an expert in both Remote Sensing and ArcGIS technology, you will help ensure our customers use the best practices to work with imagery.

Responsibilities
- Leverage domain expertise to help build the best solutions
- Build, test, QA, and implement data conversion workflows
- Test various data processing workflows
- Research and apply cutting edge methods and technologies in the field of remote sensing
- Understand, create, and explain new products created by raster analysis
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in remote sensing and GIS
- Familiarity with image services, mosaic datasets, geoprocessing tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and proven ability to work in teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical presenting and interacting with colleagues across organizations
- Remote sensing science and how to use algorithms to extract information from imagery
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
- Master's in remote sensing, GIS, or related field
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience with image processing and image analysis
- Knowledge of big data and cloud infrastructure (Amazon, Azure)
- One or more years of Python or other high-level language
- Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions
