About the role

As a Product Manager at Applied Intuition Defense, you will own key parts of our Tools business tailored to the defense autonomy industry. This includes shaping an all-domain development platform for government and industry programs to develop and test their software, as well as human-machine interface (HMI) applications for warfighters to tactically operate autonomous systems. You will thoughtfully balance and prioritize the requirements of users—including internal autonomy teams—and drive new adoption by communicating the value of your products. Working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, you will deliver clear, practical solutions with speed.

At Applied Intuition, you will:
  • Synthesize the experiences of your users, understand what drives them, and outline a roadmap to make your product even more valuable
  • Drive the pace of product development and uphold high standards for quality
  • Develop thought leadership on your product’s potential and communicate it effectively internally and externally in conjunction with Marketing and Sales
  • Marshal the resources of the entire company, from engineering leads to senior leadership, to ensure your product is winning for the customer
  • Build a deep understanding of the autonomy industry and propose where Applied Intuition Defense should invest to meet long-term demand
  • Be an ambassador for your product and the company at industry events
We're looking for someone who has:
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent degree
  • 3+ years of experience working in the tech industry
  • Overseen a product from development to deployment
  • Solid technical background in modern software development and infrastructure
  • The ability to gain an active U.S. top-secret clearance
  • A bias towards action and agitating towards business outcomes
  • Excellence at written and verbal communication
  • A willingness to be on the front lines with customers (10-25% travel time)
Nice to have:
  • Experience in software engineering that informs your approach to product and working with engineering teams
  • An active U.S. top-secret clearance
  • Experience founding a company or joining an early-stage startup
  • Experience with Big Tech product management styles

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.

Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.

Please reference the job posting’s subtitle for where this position will be located. For pay transparency purposes, the base salary range for this full-time position in the location listed is: $125,000 - $252,000 USD annually.
