The product manager will work with scientists, engineers, program managers, and a variety of cross-functional partners to understand customer and stakeholder needs, define a clear vision and strategy for their area, make prioritization decisions, invest in the next generation of recommendations models and services, and deploy.

Responsibilities

  • Is the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals.
  • Understand company strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
  • Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for web-based products and platforms.
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, platforms, and/or products.
  • Drive product development with teams of world-class engineers and designers, while maintaining team health.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones.
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-year experience working directly with Engineers while building new product.
  • Must have experience in working with Salesforce core, service cloud, sales cloud and data cloud, marketing cloud.
  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
  • 5+ years of product management experience in a technological industry
  • Experience working on agile-enabled teams
  • Experience launching consumer-facing online/mobile products/services from start to finish
  • Experience working with products rooted in voice, personalization, search, or machine learning-based systems
  • Proven ability to understand complex business problems, apply strong analytical skills and create an effective strategy
  • Technical fluency; ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across functions and influence senior leaders
  • Demonstrated success in building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision
  • Excellent platform experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly software applications and customer-facing features
  • Nimbleness and comfort with ambiguity; ability to respond rapidly to evolving threats and opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements
  • Proven ability to make smart features (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs; experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value
  • MBA or master’s degree in a quantitative field
