Job Description
We are looking for technical, highly motivated and strong hands-on product manager to join the Device42 CMDB and ITAM platform team. The Product Manager should bring strong technical and collaboration skills to help drive product initiatives, engineering engagement and roadmap execution across the Device42 Core platform/application tiers which includes the main appliance on-premises, hybrid cloud and SaaS Device42 as well as ITSM/ITOM/ITAM ecosystem integrations.
- Translate business strategy into technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps on technical architecture and bring deep domain expertise to the product team.
- Formulate and measure product analytics to ensure on-going product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Define product acceptance criteria, performance requirements and ensure that deliverables are aligned with market and customer needs.
- Manage a backlog of product stories, including requirements definitions, UX and provide on going guidance
- Balance the prioritization of backlog items to meet goals for new product capabilities, technical enhancements initiatives, and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with cross functional product managers and product marketing to align on broader product initiatives and outbound customer engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or related field required
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software product management
- Hands-on experience in IT Ops, IT Asset management, network engineering, SRE or development
- Familiarity with network protocols, network architecture, application architecture,
- Experience managing or maintaining datacenter or public cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with container and virtualization technologies - advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Have superior communication skills.
