Are you excited about the limitless possibilities of artificial intelligence and machine learning? Do you want to make these possibilities into realities for real people? If so, we have an extraordinary opportunity to join our startup as a product strategist for Fed.
Codeium already gives AI-powered tools to hundreds of thousands of individual developers and development teams at thousands of enterprises, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. With millions of installations of our extensions, a first of its kind agentic product in Windsurf, and intense traction in the enterprise sector, Codeium has uniquely already achieved strong product market fit, but has a number of strategic initiatives to take everything to the next level. As a product strategist for the federal initiative, you will be responsible for pushing our technology into the federal market. You are expected to work collaboratively with high agency and low ego. Your role will materially drive revenue and adoption forwards.
This is a unique opportunity to work at an AI startup with a real product, real users, and real revenue.
Key Responsibilities:Laser-focused on the strategic initiative: As the sole person focused on our expansion into the federal market, as opposed to horizontal functions at the company, you are expected to be working solely and comprehensively on anything that would affect the initiative, while keeping a keen ear on how the strategic initiative fits into the broader product picture of the company.
Work cross-functionally: Work with engineering, marketing, sales, partnerships, finance, legal, support, and more to help advance our push into the federal market. You are expected to have a bias towards getting your hands dirty in any of these pieces to push outcomes forward.
Voice of product to customers: Partner with our GTM team in deal cycles with the federal government and adjacent entities to educate customers on our product and product vision.
Past experience in or adjacent to the federal government, ideally in a capacity that deals with software and technology.
Past technical founder, or similar role with high agency, responsibility, and large cross-functional footprint in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Past software development experience (we’re a tool for developers!)
Excellent communications, interpersonal, and presentation skills. An executive presence that would resonate internally and externally.
Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence (as opposed to dictate).
Demonstrated ability to operate and execute in ambiguity.
Experience in sales, marketing, design, photo/video editing software, content production, etc. are all pluses
