AMD together we advance_ The Role: The Chief of Staff to our Chief Commercial Officer is looking for a “right hand” to support execution of key sales programs and customer engagements to maximize efficiency and effectiveness across the global sales organization. In this hands-on role, you will be integral in driving business results by closely partnering with sales leaders, field sellers, and cross-functional teams around the globe. You will achieve this by working proactively on key business and operational processes with a focus on continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-growth organization. We'd love to talk! • Proactive and execution focused • Actions and results oriented with the ability to prioritize and make decisions quickly • Strong problem structuring and problem-solving skills • Able to manage a high degree of complexity • Outstanding collaboration and influencing skills to drive business results • Ability to build trust, relationships and influence team members to ensure delivery Key Responsibilities: • Build strong relationship with team members across the organization in order to influence outcomes and maintain project momentum. • Support the Chief of Staff in critical planning, projects and initiatives. • Collaborate with sales executive assistants to ensure timely planning for and calendaring of strategic events and meetings. • Coordinate customer briefing documents to ensure on-time completeness • Help plan business reviews, staff meetings, offsites and customer engagements. • Build presentations and reports for executive consumption. • Engage and consistently prepare sales leaders for internal and external priority programs. • Manage day-to-day action items, tracking and reporting to ensure a closed loop of priority work and maximum ROI • Review the team’s processes and operations as needed, helping to ensure the right levels of operational rigor required to operate seamlessly and drive growth. • Build reports and analyze weekly data against key performance metrics (financial, operational, and market related). Preferred Experience: • Proven experience in a combination of operations, strategy or business management roles • Recent and detailed experience in the hi-tech industry a plus • Demonstrated project and program leadership success • Experience leading and managing multiple complex projects at a given time with successful results • High level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), in Salesforce CRM or similar, and in data manipulation, analysis and presentation Academic Credentials: Undergraduate degree, PMP desirable Location: Austin, TX (Remote near a major US airport may be considered for the right candidate) #LI-KH1 At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
