AMD together we advance_ Job Role and Responsibility: Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Project/Program Managers to Lead large cross-functional teams in detailed project planning and execution. Drive and/or managing the planning phase of the product lifecycle for silicon and hardware release planning. Through existing / new tools and efficient (automated) processes, drive the implementation of the project/program roadmaps and document the information shared with field teams to drive customer adoption. Drive the strategic direction of the tool and automation processes for tracking and reporting on state of the union for releases of all products, maintaining process documents, and providing training on best practices/processes. Look for and drive improvements/process efficiencies that will establish product/release schedules, enhance customer success, and/or ease the workload for peer teams. Ensure that PSAS continues to evolve and address improvements in all areas of the team. Organize and chair regular Operational Reviews with management including creation of agendas and tracking of action items. Utilize experience in the end-to-end product lifecycle, including product definition, design, development, and delivery. Utilize knowledge of computers & electronics, including computer hardware and software, applications, programming, and development, and design techniques, tools and principles, to develop resolution to critical issues. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development and testing of various finance technology systems utilized in AMD’s business. Multiple openings. Travel required: NO Qualifications: Degree required Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field. Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering or IT project manager role. Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will alternatively accept a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering or IT project manager role. Specific skills required: The following skills are required: Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following: Managing multiple, simultaneous projects using Jira; End-to-end product lifecycle, including product definition, design, development, and delivery; Setting project timelines, creating agendas, and directing technical team resources; Maintaining and updating project tracking systems; and Creating reporting using Tableau or PowerBI. #LI-DP1 At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
