Prototype Paint Technician

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.

We are looking for a Prototype Paint Technician that has the skills and patience to coat precision parts and meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on machines and equipment
• Collaborate with our ID team to develop new coatings, colors and finishes for prototype assemblies
• Clean and prepare all parts
• Mask parts and develop masking procedures/processes
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
• Paint/coat parts to the quality standards of our ID and Engineering teams
• Perform paint repairs
• Maintain inventory of supplies

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in a related industry
• Ability to tackle problems in which you may not have expert knowledge
• Ability to understand engineering documentation
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Safety conscious, dependable, and a positive can do attitude
• CAD experience
