THE ROLE:

AMD is currently looking for a Regional Product Enablement Manager within the Enterprise and HPC Business Unit, which is part of the Data Center Business Unit. This person will be responsible for supporting our North America sales and marketing teams through product expertise, content development, and implementing GTM strategies. There is a major customer-facing component to the role, and some travel (up to 25%) required.

 

THE PERSON:

Candidates must possess both technical acumen and strong business instincts to help articulate the value of AMD Data Center solutions to customers, ISVs, and partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in Data Center hardware/software technologies, understanding of emerging trends, and strong marketing and presentation skills. Most importantly, you must thrive in a fast-paced environment and not be afraid to operate outside your comfort-zone.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop relationships with AMD sales teams in order to proactively understand their needs to help enable their success.
  • Present product roadmaps to end-customers, in coordination with sales, to help influence the customer’s buying decision
  • Conduct product training for channel partners, OEM field teams, and ecosystem partners as applicable.
  • Partner with North America Regional Marketing on GTM activities and provide content or resource support as needed.
  • Develop content that best communicates our value proposition and ensures sales success.
  • Provide customer and sales feedback into AMD Product Management to help shape our future roadmap.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Product Management or Product Marketing experience with Data Center Products (Server, Storage, Networking and Software)
  • Strong understanding of Data Center market trends and vendor landscape
  • Working experience with B2B interactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated and willing to work collaboratively with cross functional teams including regional marketing/sales, corporate communications, product management, engineering, and others


EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
