Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.
We are looking for a Robot Operations Technician to join the Systems Integration and Test team to execute validation tests on our state-of-the-art humanoid. You will operate our robot every day and become an expert in how to run it.
Shift: 8:00AM-4:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Setup and execute validation tests using prescribed behaviors on the robot
- Proactively identify issues during operation and report feedback daily to your Systems Integration and Test teammates
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for both yourself and the robot during operation
- Contribute to lab setup to improve testing
- Follow proper equipment and robot procedures, including bring-up and shutdown
Requirements:
- Experience operating electromechanical systems
- Experience with basic command line tools and processes in linux
- Embrace constructive feedback and strive for constant improvement
