What you’ll be doing

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with gaming studios, AI technology providers, platforms, and other key players in the industry.
  • Drive sales initiatives by identifying and pursuing potential revenue-generating opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting partner relationships and offer solutions and support.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor movements, and developer preferences to guide business decisions.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with the key Inworld AI partners and deliver a world-class developer success program.
  • Oversee the development and negotiation of contracts with partners to ensure mutually beneficial terms for both parties.
  • Work closely with departments across the organization including product, engineering and marketing to ensure business goals align and opportunities are maximized.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.

What you’ll bring

  • You have a passion for AI, gaming and all things interactive.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in sales and business development, specifically working with game developers.
  • You have strong sales acumen with a proven track record of driving and closing impactful partnership and/or sales deals in the games business.
  • You have negotiated and closed deals from the developer, publisher, vendor, and/or platform sides of the table.
  • You can speak to the strategy, execution, and results derived from these deals for your company and the other party.
  • You have a natural, informed, and proven ability to connect with decision-makers in game development.
  • You network with game developers and publishers through email, chat, meetup, and dinner groups.
  • You have a rising voice that speaks to broader industry perspectives beyond your own specific company's short-term goals, that shows traction in the community, through LinkedIn postings and replies and speaking on panels at game industry events. This traction results in a strong reputation for fairness, knowledge, logic, listening, and a positive outlook supporting the game industry as a whole.
  • You are willing to travel as needed.
