Sales Engineer (West Coast)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer based on the West Coast to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen. The ideal candidate will understand customer requirements, articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, and provide pre-sales support to our sales team.

About the role:

  • Technical Sales Support:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the technical capabilities and benefits of our solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, information security responses, and technical documentation.

  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and technical point of contact.
  • Provide pre-sales support, including solution implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and technical assistance.

  • Product Feedback and Development:
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to relay customer requirements and contribute to product roadmap planning.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in data/AI.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and startup experience are highly valued. Such as having been a founder or technical leader at an early-stage company
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
