THE ROLE:

The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for the dedicated operations support of Lenovo within the Lenovo Sales Team including but not limited to supply escalations, revenue/attainment management, short/long range demand/supply forecasting, and financial planning.

 

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate will have a knowledge of sales forecasting, demand/supply planning, Salesforce systems, and will bring and will bring strong analytical/excel skills to the team. The position requires strong horizontal leadership skills, the ability to communicate externally and internally with all levels of the organization, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and AMD's business objectives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate cross functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics, BU, and Finance to provide Sales Operations support for Lenovo Account including but not limited to supply escalations, revenue management, and demand/supply forecasting
  • Primary interface with Lenovo customer contacts on daily supply inquiries, hot expedites, logistics support, etc.
  • Develop relationships with Customer Ops representative as first point of contact for tactical supply related inquiries
  • Develop relationships with Business Unit counterpart and become the “Voice of the Customer” for open issues 
  • Support weekly attainment deliverables including revenue upside/downside analysis, areas of opportunity, and SFDC data management process per weekly deadlines
  • Hands on management to enter pricing quotes, manage right of return process,
  • Provide the weekly analysis for revenue attainment management
  • Track billings and backlog against forecast and annual operating plan
  • Review the customers forecast, highlight any changes that may require escalations to meet the demands. 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Customer facing experience/background
  • Good working knowledge of CRM (SFDC), SAP, and all Microsoft systems & tools.
  • Solid knowledge of order placement and fulfillment process well as an understanding of the financial and related applications.
  • Key analytical, finance and business acumen
  • Strong Excel skills on pivots, vlookup, shortcuts, etc
  • Ability to accommodate flexible working hours
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
