Reporting to the Security Manager this position will manage Security Operations Center operations. The role will help build and manage the Security Operations Center. The role is key in maintaining a proactive, effective, and mission driven xAI security program. The xAI Security Operations Center in Memphis supports all xAI facilities.
This is an in-person role based in Memphis, Tennessee, and may require minimal travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in building and staffing the xAI Security Operations Center from the ground up
- Develop Security Operations Center policies and procedures
- Coordinate with security teams and other partners during emergency and routine events; dispatching external agencies as required
- Conduct investigative video searches or other investigative reviews and provide reports
- Monitor all systems used within the operation and triage/escalate alarms or alerts accordingly
- Train and mentor SOC operators
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as a security operations center manager
- 5+ years of security experience, preferably in a SOC setting
- Extensive experience with access control, surveillance, and other security systems
Preferred
- 2+ years of military, law enforcement, or emergency response experience
- Confident leadership skills and must have the desire to develop a capable, customer service oriented team.
- Bias for proactivity and decisive action.
