Commercial Controller
The commercial controller will be a key member of the EMEA finance team. This role helps drive financial performance through data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. It also involves strategic planning to guide the business effectively.
The position involves partnering with business and operational teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and ensure financial targets are achieved. A solid understanding of IFRS 15 is essential to support accurate financial reporting and compliance.
This highly visible position requires regular interaction with internal and external customers, as well as senior-level staff members of the business and finance teams.
Responsibilities Commercial Controller:
- As a commercial controller you are the co-pilot of the business, part of the core Business team and part of the Finance team.
- Support business leaders in developing and monitoring financial forecasts and profitability.
- Ensure accounting compliance for Net Revenue and COS reporting.
- Overseeing the internal and external audits and preparing necessary documents.
- Ensuring that the business complies with Group policies and Financial Control best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business economics, econometrics, accountancy or business analytics. Any CPA or relevant qualification is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- P&L knowledge and influence
- Experience in Finance/Business Controlling or someone who needs to transition from audit to commercial finance.
- Experience with budget control and complex Excel functions.
- Fluency in English is a must.
