We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer Relations professional to serve as a key advocate and trusted advisor for our global community of users and contributors. You will build meaningful relationships with developers through technical content, video tutorials, hands-on workshops, educational programs, and more. As an expert in Anthropic’s large language models, you will represent Anthropic by giving talks at developer events, hosting hackathons, and organizing community events.

Responsibilities:
- Create and present technical content such as tutorials, cookbooks, prototypes, demos, and talks to showcase model capabilities and best practices
- Serve as a trusted advisor, mentor, and advocate for global developers using Anthropic’s products
- Represent Anthropic and engage users at conferences, meetups, and online forums
- Grow and support developer communities focused on safe and beneficial AI
- Gather developer feedback, identify pain points, and inform product decisions
- Improve onboarding, work with users to resolve issues, answer questions
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 6+ years of relevant or transferrable experience
- Are an excellent communicator, and love teaching technical concepts and creating high quality technical content
- Are excited to talk to motivated developers and help solve their problems
- Have a creative builder spirit and love creating prototypes that excite other developers to build similar products and implementations
- Have a firm grasp of programming in Python and can create highly legible code for external developers to use
- Think holistically and can proactively identify the needs of an organization
- Make ambiguous problems clear and identify core principles that can translate across scenarios
- Have a passion for making powerful technology safe and societally beneficial
- Anticipate unforeseen risks, model out scenarios, and provide actionable guidance to internal stakeholders
Annual Salary (USD)
- The expected salary range for this position is $300k - $405k USD.
Logistics
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits*
Anthropic’s compensation package consists of three elements: salary, equity, and benefits. We are committed to pay fairness and aim for these three elements collectively to be highly competitive with market rates.
Equity - On top of this position's salary (listed above), equity will be a major component of the total compensation. We aim to offer higher-than-average equity compensation for a company of our size, and communicate equity amounts at the time of offer issuance.
