Monks is seeking a highly experienced Senior Strategy Director, with a strong background in the automotive industry to join our expanding Strategy & Planning team in the US.In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative social media strategies for our prestigious automotive clients, with a focus on enhancing brand awareness, optimizing marketing efforts, and driving sales performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive social media strategies and paid social media plans aligned with clients' marketing objectives
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to social media teams, ensuring the creation and execution of high-quality, engaging content across all platforms
- Analyze social media performance metrics, providing in-depth reports and actionable insights to optimize strategies and drive ROI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive brand voice and messaging across all social media channels
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive industry, leveraging insights to inform strategic decision-making
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Stay abreast of emerging digital technologies and social media best practices, leveraging insights to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
The essentials:
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in social media strategy, with a proven track record of success in the automotive industry
- Deep understanding of the automotive market, consumer preferences, and industry trends
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate high-performing teams
- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in interpreting social media metrics and translating data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex strategies to both internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative social media strategies that drive business results
- Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
