About The Role 💻

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer who will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces for our cutting-edge sustainability tech platform. This role involves translating complex data and analytical insights into intuitive and engaging user experiences, ensuring our products are visually appealing and functionally effective. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in frontend development with a passion for user-centered design and a commitment to building accessible and performant web applications.

What You’ll Be Doing 🚀

• Crafting exceptional user interfaces: Developing and maintaining high-quality, reusable frontend components and features using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, Angular).
• Collaborating on design: Working closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate design concepts and wireframes into clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Ensuring responsiveness and accessibility: Building web applications that are accessible to all users, across a variety of devices and browsers, adhering to standards.
• Optimizing performance: Implementing performance best practices to ensure fast loading times and smooth user interactions.
• Writing clean, maintainable code: Following coding standards and best practices, participating in code reviews, and contributing to a culture of quality.
• Staying up-to-date: Keeping abreast of the latest trends and technologies in front-end development, advocating for their adoption when appropriate.
• Frontend Application and Deployment Optimization: Maintain and enhance the stability, performance, and reliability of frontend applications by leveraging monitoring tools, debugging issues, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and System Integration: Collaborate cross-functionally with backend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability of frontend services within the overall system architecture.

What You’ll Need 👀

• Product Engineer mindset
• 5+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Proven experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, Angular) and state management libraries (e.g., Vuex, Redux).
• Proficiency in building responsive and accessible web applications.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for building high-quality user experiences.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level-proficient user)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Frontend expertise

Nice to Have ✨

• Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js).
• Experience with TypeScript or Python
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries

Strong understanding of Lean and Agile (small increments, iterative development, vertical slicing, MVP, etc.)
