Senior Full Stack Developer Advocate, AWS Developer Experience
at Amazon ⋅ IN, KA, Bangalore
Are you a full stack developer who loves crafting seamless experiences from frontend to backend? Do you build with React, Angular, or Vue.js while also diving deep into C#/.NET or Java? Are you excited about how cloud technologies and generative AI are revolutionizing the way we build and deploy software? If you're passionate about creating elegant, full stack solutions and can't wait to share your discoveries with fellow developers, we have your dream job!
AWS is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer Advocate to join our team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you'll leverage your comprehensive software development expertise to drive AWS adoption and empower developers across the region.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Full Stack Developer Advocate at AWS, you'll be a technical thought leader in the developer community, creating and presenting advanced content while mentoring junior advocates and influencing product roadmaps. Your expertise in both frontend and backend technologies will position you as a go-to expert for developers seeking guidance on building comprehensive cloud solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating in-depth tutorials on integrating frontend frameworks with AWS services and thought leadership articles on cloud-native architectures using C#/.NET or Java backends
- Developing complex code samples demonstrating full stack applications on AWS
- Bridging the gap between frontend and backend development in the cloud, informing AWS product roadmaps with insights from both perspectives
- Participating in early-stage product ideation, bringing the voice of full stack developers to the table
- Supporting Developer Relations activities across the region and mentoring junior advocates to shape the next generation of full stack cloud developers
A day in the life
You might start your day fine-tuning React components with AWS AppSync and writing technical whitepapers on scalable architectures. After lunch, you might mentor junior advocates and develop demos using React, Java/C#, Lambda, and API Gateway. You might end your day leading cross-functional meetings on regional initiatives and hosting live coding sessions on Twitch. Throughout, you balance technical work, strategic planning, mentorship, and community engagement.
