About the role
Skills: JavaScript, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL
We're looking for a founding engineer to join our team to help us continue to grow quickly. For this role, we're keen on a full-stack JavaScript developer with a focus on backend. You'll help us build out our platform while also thinking about how to incorporate AI and LLMs into our admin-facing experiences.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience
Strong API, SDK, TypeScript, and database design skills
Experience with full-stack app development with Next.js or other JS frameworks
Highly preferred
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD
Comfortable with underlying web fundamentals (Web APIs, React, server <> client-side interactions, JS runtimes, etc.)
Familiar with mono-repo, package management, and build tools
Open Source contributions

As a founding engineer, you'll have an outsized impact on the direction and outcome of the company while having many opportunities to grow in whatever direction[s] you like.
The team primarily works in person in New York City, but open to folks in SF.
Technology
We do the hard stuff — search and retrieval, multi-source data ingestion, minimizing LLM hallucinations, and creating beautiful UX experiences — so our customers don't have to.
We also add a rich layer of usage statistics and LLM/ML powered reporting that helps companies pin-point gaps in their documentation or product based on what users are asking.
