Senior IT Manager

Sydney (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Senior IT Manager to oversee the company’s IT operations, ensuring seamless support for Mac and Windows environments, managing security and compliance (including SOC2 certification), and offering best in class service to our global users (200 and growing). This role will be based in our Sydney office, and is hands-on, leading a small IT team and collaborating with multiple departments to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of IT systems, networks, and end-user support across Mac and Windows environments.

  • Ensure the smooth deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premise systems.

  • Manage vendors, contracts, and IT procurement processes.

  • Lead SOC2 certification efforts and ensure ongoing compliance with industry security standards.

  • Implement and oversee security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

  • Manage and enhance Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to ensure endpoint security.

  • Maintain and optimize Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for seamless authentication and access control.

  • Lead and mentor a small IT team, providing technical guidance and career development support.

  • Support onsite facilitates and office maintenance schedules. 

  • Ensure the smooth running of the IT service desk through your team, with SLAs in place for first response and time to resolution.

  • Drive automation and process improvements within IT operations.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant IT experience in a hybrid working environment, with experience in line managing other IT team members.

  • Strong expertise in managing Mac and Windows environments.

  • Proven experience leading SOC2 compliance efforts and security best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with MDM and SSO solutions.

  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, cloud computing, and endpoint security.

  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and align IT initiatives with business objectives.
