About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Commercial to drive our efforts in identifying and closing data-driven marketing services deals with large enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leveraging a robust network of industry relationships within the marketing departments of Fortune 500 brands to fast-track high-value opportunities and navigate complex enterprise sales cycles. This role will focus heavily on prospecting, building strategic relationships, and accelerating revenue growth by securing major enterprise accounts.

The Senior Manager, Commercial will assist Commercial team leadership across the deal lifecycle for our consulting and data service offerings spanning retained teams to fixed fee projects. You will be responsible for both generating leads as well as qualifying and closing inbound leads, supporting pitch teams and scoping proposals, and working with our legal and technical teams to navigate complicated procurement processes through to initial contract signature. Once an account is onboarded you will manage client satisfaction with key stakeholders and work closely with the fulfillment teams to identify further room for growth. This position will cover a mix of new business and management of existing accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic sales plans to identify, target, and close deals with large enterprises.
  • Leverage an established network of industry connections to gain access to key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
  • Proactively prospect and qualify high-value opportunities, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market positioning. There will be a strong customer research element to this role.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients, acting as a trusted advisor and partner. Support the Commercial VP and Directors in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through contract negotiation and closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, customer success) to tailor solutions to meet enterprise client needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and credibility.
About You

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. This is a team support role with room to grow to a lead role.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles and engaging with senior-level executives and procurement teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, with a focus on delivering results.
  • A customer-first mindset and a passion for building meaningful relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on enterprise accounts.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sales efforts simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and partners.
  • Experience with negotiations at an enterprise level, and the patience and focus to navigate elaborate procurement requirements and align responses with internal legal, financial, and infosec requirements
  • Proven ability to close six- to seven figure enterprise deals.
  • Skilled in creating slides, proposals, scoping sheets and contract drafts suitable for an executive audience
