Senior Manager Solutions Architect, Public Sector Mexico

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technical managers to coach, grow, and partner with technically skilled, customer-facing Solutions Architects. You will help develop the industry’s best cloud-based solutions architects by enabling and coaching them on best practices, solution selling, presentation and speaking skills, as well as how to create and present architectures of widely varying size and complexity. In collaboration with the Demand Generation Sales Team, you will be assisting their efforts of prospecting for new business and
acquiring a broad set of new customers in a diverse customer base. If you think you have what it takes to lead the best in the industry, AWS is hiring Leaders for our teams of Solutions Architects.
This role will be responsible for a team of early-in-career Solutions Architects and Specialists (AI/ML, DevOps, Security, Big Data, etc.) who will need to learn the breadth of the AWS platform quickly and each develop depth in one or more area. As their leader you must be passionate about developing these professionals and working to advance them into more senior and complex roles. This role focuses on targeted technical marketing campaigns, solution demos, virtual conference speaking engagements, and more.
Travel: Up to 20% travel is required for the role Roles and Responsibilities


Key job responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of customers, products and the buyer’s journey
- Work closely with other departments to build cross-functional cohesion
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to build programs that support sales enablement
- Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects from internal and external sources
- Educate enterprise customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
- Coach Solutions Architects in the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
- Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices
- Must be passionate about developing early-in-career talent

You present AWS Value proposition to both open and closed audiences in a compelling way that clearly transmit relevant information and reference cases that attract attention and creates intention and business opportunities. You work side by side with the account team to understand prospects' and customer's needs or business strategy to shape technical solutions based on AWS Services that address all the stakeholders' concerns based on the best practices. You have fun by thinking big on behalf of your customers and invent compelling solutions that impact the world's best interests.
