As a Partner Solution Architect with AWS, you will be responsible for generative AI strategy and senior level relationships with AWS technology partners. You will ideate with partners on joint solution development and co-innovation, build working prototypes and demonstrations that help AWS partners leverage generative AI capability to build new products. You will lead deep architectural discussions about generative AI to ensure new solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. You will be a thought leader on topics that are innovative and transformative with your partners. You will serve as a subject matter expert on your partners’ solutions within AWS, enabling the field and technical teams on deploying, operating, securing, and integrating with those solutions.
You should be a builder who likes not only to think about the capabilities of technologies like generative AI, but to use those technologies directly to deepen your understanding and create working concepts. You should possess customer-facing skills that allow you to represent AWS with partners and customers and drive discussions with senior personnel, as well as a technical background that enables you to easily interact and give guidance to software developers and architects. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and work in a fast-paced environment.
30% travel is required.
Preference will be for candidates near where AWS has a significant presence. San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, Austin and New York City are preferred. This role cannot be based in Colorado.
Key job responsibilities
* Work with partners to deeply understand their business and technical needs that can be addressed with foundation models.
* Influence leaders of technology partners through business-level discussions by extracting key technical insights from your own experimentation and communicating these insights at an executive level.
* Develop proof-of-concept code that leverages AWS services for generative AI to demonstrate AWS capabilities that technology partners can leverage to improve the capabilities they sell to their customers.
* Identify gaps in capabilities and features with AWS GenAI services, and provide short-term and long-term solutions to address those through open source code and/or working with partners.
* Draw on deep expertise and experience in your segment to ensure recommendations and technical advice is relevant and incisive.
* Provide roadmap to internal product management and engineering teams based on customer and partner feedback to help drive the future of AWS services in generative AI.
* Provide architectural guidance and recommendations on building generative AI-powered applications efficiently and reliably on AWS.
* Enable internal and external teams to up-level and build competency in generative AI tools and architectures. Where helpful, develop technical content, such as white papers, workshops, and reference architectures, that can be used by our customers and partners.
* Assist solution providers with the definition of strategies that will enable them to present their offering on AWS.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in AI development and deployment, such as GDPR, HIPPA or similar guidelines.
* Conduct research and experimentation, while also staying updated with the latest advancements in generative AI to drive innovation and foster credibility.
* Participate in industry conferences, workshops and forums to share insights and learn from peers in the AI community.
* Scope each partner and customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria
* Be an advocate of responsible AI, and use your role as a GenAI thought leader to evangelize safeguards for AI while demystifying the behavior of AI systems

Partner solutions architects engage in internal and external meetings, offering technical insights and solutions. They design and refine generative AI solutions, collaborating closely with other builders, documenting scalable solutions, and evangalizing these solutions to the world. They are continuous learners who stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, fortify their expertise, and inspire innovation through their solutions and among their colleagues and partner and customer contacts.

We each possess deep expertise in one or more technical domains relevant to our partners.
