Role Summary

The Detection Engineering (DE) team is responsible for building and operating the security data pipeline and automation infrastructure for threat detection across the company. Our mission is to enable scalable and intelligent threat detection by integrating AI/ML technologies into the security stack. We work closely with Blue Team operations, SOC analysts, and threat hunters to automate detection, triage, and response processes. The Senior Principal Cybersecurity AI Engineer will be an experienced and passionate engineering leader that can drive direction on technology, successfully champion align with other tech leaders and stakeholders, influence and build trust with teams, and execute delivery of complex systems considering scalability, future extensibility, and reliability. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design PoC projects that bridge security domain expertise with AI/LLM capabilities
• Develop LLM-based security use cases such as: Assessing insider threats / Preventing sensitive information leaks / Detecting security threats
• Design and implement agent-to-agent frameworks for autonomous security analysis: Summarizing and triaging SOC tickets using LLM agents
• Architect task decomposition and coordination workflows in multi-agent collaboration (e.g., MCP frameworks)
• Build LLM-based systems for summarizing and triaging SOC tickets or detection logs
• Automate Python-based analysis pipelines and ML inference services for production use · Provide Subject Matter Expertise with other teams and identify opportunities where leveraging LLM or Machine Learning could improve efficiency or the ways of working.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in LLM-based projects, including building and delivering production-ready services. · 3+ years of hands-on with Machine Learning
• Experience with Generative AI frameworks such as Bedrock, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex
• Understanding of text-based logs such as security logs, and ticket data
• Experience in Python-based LLM or AI/ML Projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing or implementing multi-agent systems (e.g. MCP, agent-to-agent frameworks)
• Background in security operations (SOC, IR) or understanding of security log structures
• Experience in building MLOps or inference-serving infrastructure
• Experience developing or evaluating anomaly detection models on large-scale log data
