Senior Product Manager (Marketplace logistic excellence)

Role Overview:

The Coupang Marketplace business is responsible for providing a scalable platform where sellers of any scale and size can be successful selling on Coupang. In this role, you will have opportunity to deeply understand the vibrant online seller community in Taiwan. Coupang Marketplace is seeing significant year-over-year business growth, and we are building the team to get us there.

 

What You Will Do:

  • As a product manager on our Marketplace business, you will dive deep into logistics part of seller experience
  • Conduct analysis, develop solutioning/framework and identify enhancements with insights from relevant department to improve seller fulfilment efficiency and enhanced buyer experience
  • Implement framework and technology enhancements to improve end-to-end delivery speed and consistency
  • Develop and implement logistics initiatives to improve Seller fulfilment efficiency and consistency which align with the buyer needs
  • Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and KPIs of a logistics aspect of marketplace business.
  • Lead the entire product life cycle from inception to launch, including writing product requirements, defining use cases, setting success metrics, running A/B tests and increasing customer adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics performance by removing any friction points in the end-to-end customer/seller experience.
  • Have a deep understanding of the customer and provide the Voice of the Customer to stakeholders.
  • Establish strong partnerships with UX designers, developers, Customer Support and business stakeholders to support business growth.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in product management, including developing, delivering and executing on a strong product vision.
  • Analytical thinker who works well in a fast-paced, data-driven and highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Bias for action and willingness to get your hands dirty to get any job done.
  • Sound business judgment and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence others.
  • Written and verbal Chinese & English language skills at fluent level.
  • A person who is able to maintain work priorities in a complex and rapidly changing situation where multiple stakeholders and requests are intertwined – a person who prefers a fast-paced work style.
  • Ability to conceive new ideas and experimentations for consideration. Understands the difference between 1-way and 2-way doors.
  • Detail oriented, high standards and a bias toward action.
  • Always ensures business goals and plans are in line with ‘WOW the Customer’ – never sacrifices customer experience for short-term goal.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in launching logistics and consumer facing products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Industry work experience related to eCommerce or B2B SaaS
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Lean practices and software development
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
