Senior Product Manager, Pet Health & Insurance Innovation

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to join our Pet Health Insurance (CarePlus) team in our Bellevue, WA or Boston, MA offices. The CarePlus team’s mission is to make healthcare more affordable and accessible to pet parents. We own and deliver solutions enabling customers to intuitively discover, openly compare, seamlessly acquire and frictionlessly use pet health financial services on and off Chewy.

You will develop and own the product features/enhancements roadmap + generate/own ideas for new capabilities/expansion opportunities while ensuring we continue to raise the bar for our customers. You will work cross-functionally across Product, UXD/UXR, Technology, Marketing, Category Management, Customer Service, Operations, and Executive teams to create and build support for a shared product vision. You will also serve as a key customer advocate, ensuring the voice of the customer is embedded in key business decisions.

You will play a pivotal role on our Product Management team in driving the strategy and execution of features for Chewy Insurance Services, LLC.

What You'll Do:

  • Use your customer-first approach to prioritize and deliver a defined set of objectives in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap for your products and features suite ensuring product vision continually aligns with both customer and business goals.
  • Synthesize business, market, and technical data to see opportunities, size them, and turn insights into potential features.
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through product discovery and delivery by incorporating inputs from all partners.
  • Build financial models to estimate the impact of proposed features.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work diligently across cross-functional teams.
  • Provide concise written artefacts to communicate cohesive details based on the audience.
  • Define and analyze measures of success for the initiatives you deliver. Use the data to deliver knowledge and insight to the wider team.
  • Apply mechanisms to get results related to product/feature suite you own across all tech and non-tech tracks 

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with an MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in a consumer-focused technology company, with expertise in building 0-1 product experiences.
  • Ownership and a customer-first mentality, with understanding of industry trends, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to think boldly and anticipate future needs.
  • Expertise in developing and launching greenfield products, handling ambiguity, and navigating systems design challenges.
  • Experience driving roadmap strategy and defining product priorities.
  • Skilled in using qualitative and quantitative market research tools to acquite customer insights and feedback.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools like Optimizely, Google Optimize, or similar platforms.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong analytical abilities to turn data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Position may require occasional travel.

Hub Locations & Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid Model: 3 days in hub location per week
  • Remote: This role is NOT a remote role.

 

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

Pay Range
$134,500$215,000 USD
