About the role:
We’re looking for a software engineer with expertise in distributed systems and back end engineering to join our team. You will be responsible for building core infrastructure for decentralized and distributed machine learning at scale, and conducting and implementing cutting-edge research for high uptime, scaleable, and fault-tolerant decentralized systems.
You will:
Design and implement decentralized systems for training state-of-the-art LLMs, setting industry benchmarks
Develop solutions to complex distributed computing problems like fault tolerance, consensus, and scalability
Be directly involved in creating the first-of-its-kind decentralized ML protocol
Build economic systems that scale across tens of thousands of users and nodes in the network, enabling efficient resource allocation and incentive distribution
Build cryptographic systems that validate compute integrity in a decentralized environment
Work on tasks such as real-time job scheduling, multi-node GPU orchestration, and secure data exchange
Design systems leveraging container orchestration and blockchain technologies to tackle real-world AI challenges at scale
Requirements:
You have 7+ years of software engineering with expertise in distributed systems design and implementation
You have 5+ years of experience in languages like Golang, Python, or Rust
You have strong knowledge of consensus algorithms, state management, and fault-tolerant systems
You have experience working with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
You have a high degree of initiative and end-to-end project ownership
You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to haves:
Previous experience in a startup environment
Experience building decentralized networks
Knowledge of smart contract development (e.g. Solidity)
Passion for AI or web3
