As a Senior Strategist for this position, you will play a key role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for a major retail client in the home center category. You will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing data, and collaborating with creative teams to deliver compelling campaigns that meet and exceed client objectives. This role also requires a deep understanding of Comms Planning in collaboration with the media team, as well as strong people management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans
- Collaborate with internal teams to create innovative and effective campaign strategies
- Identify trends and insights from market research and analyze brand performance metrics
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
- Present strategic recommendations to clients and key stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in a strategic role within a publicity agency or related industry
- Previous experience with retail brands is a competitive advantage, but not exclusionary
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in market research tools and data analysis
