PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

What We Do

Product Management partners with game development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to provide a data and market-driven view of product strategy that aligns with business goals. As part of Epic’s Growth Team, we use our product expertise to identify and drive growth levers to grow our player base and business.

What You'll Do

This role is specifically focused on the industry-leading Unreal Engine Rendering systems and workflows powering next-generation console & mobile games to design cinematic film & television quality visuals. This means all aspects of the engine’s lighting & rendering pipeline available to programmers and artists alike. This includes but is not limited to Lumen Global Illumination, Nanite virtualized geometry, material editing, and performance optimizations for authoring interactive real-time experiences that scale across all platforms.

In this role, you will

  • Drive product initiatives with minimal direction/supervision
  • Engage with our users to understand their needs and requirements
  • Apply principles, standards and best practices within the subject matter area to influence product deliverables
  • Partner with the Programming and UX team to design and validate user-facing features and workflows, and build valuable, well thought out solutions
  • Work with our marketing and sales teams to help them explain the what and the why to our customers (they are the Who!)
  • Think strategically about problems encountered, develop working solutions, and make sound decisions with occasional guidance

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of Technical Product Management or equivalent experience working with exceptional programming talent
  • Hands-on experience and affinity for real-time 3D lighting & rendering workflows for games or other Interactives
  • A demonstrable track record of shipping products that delight customers
  • Someone that can think in both near-term (tactics) and long-term (strategy)
  • Drive alignment with clever, thoughtful, and kind people as a team
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with change, managing complex tasks and being adaptable to project scope

This role is open to multiple locations in North America (including WA).

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

$169,000$248,000 USD
