TEAM

The Map Delivery Platform team in Tokyo, Japan, is a culturally diverse team developing software for autonomous driving (AD) and advanced driver assistance (ADAS) systems. Our exports develop cutting-edge technology for the next-generation AD/ADAS platform, building components deployed to both Cloud and vehicles. The team is responsible for map over-the-air updates, efficient processing of large datasets, and integrating with other components of the AD/ADAS stack. We apply state-of-the-art technology, write high quality safety-critical code that gets deployed to production.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

An experienced Vehicle Software Engineer for Autonomous Driving

Strong background in writing high-quality, safe C++ code that will be used in customer vehicles

A great team player with passion to innovate and deliver a product to the customer

Having an interest in Automotive technology is encouraged

RESPONSIBILITIES

Development of C++ software components for Autonomous Driving and Mapping Applications

Integration of AD/ADAS software components into the platform

Work with other teams on the successful deployment to the target hardware and simulation environments

Reviewing and approving deliveries according to the specifications, requirements and milestones

Ownership of map-related formats and specifications in a multi-domain architecture

Monitor and optimize computing budgets of software components

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Strong experience in modern C++ development (C++14 or higher)

Expertise in POSIX-compliant operating systems, for example Linux or QNX

Familiar with modern ARM-based SoC architectures

Ability to make decisions based on project priorities and scope

NICE TO HAVES

Strong experience in embedded systems, preferably Automotive environment

Experience working in large, distributed international teams

Knowledge of modern Python development

Experience in Automotive-related mapping applications, such as navigation or ADAS

Experience with Automotive Protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP)

Familiar with Functional Safety/ISO 26262

Business level Japanese
