THE TEAM:

The goal of System Validation team is to ensure a full validation coverage of system new features, user scenarios of AMD products, so as to improve customers and partners experience and build the trust of AMD products.

 

THE PERSON:

We’re looking for a system validation engineer for post silicon system validation test development, coverage enhancement and process optimization across product segments of Desktop, Mobile and Workstation.  The candidate’s focus is on Artificial Intelligence applications and systems, is responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans to ensure our AI solutions meet the highest quality standards.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and maintain system level test plans for AI PC.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure test plans align with project requirements.
  • Implement automation testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Define test cases and scripts, monitor the results of test execution.
  • Analyze test data, provide detailed test reports, Conduct risk assessments.
  • Stay current with the latest testing technologies and tools in the AI domain, driving innovation and improvement in testing practices.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning fundamentals, including a detailed understanding of contemporary DL model structures and algorithms like CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, etc. Hands-on experience in deploying these models in projects will be considered an advantage.
  • Proficient in the practical use and development (validation) of ML applications within the realms of computer vision, Speech Recognition and Synthesis, and LLMs.
  • An avid user of current AI technologies, especially those involving multi-modal interactions, with a preference for those capable of operating AI models offline on PCs (e.g., LM Studio).
  • Should be well-versed in the latest AI trends, applications, and models, demonstrating a keen sense for emerging market leaders and user preferences.
  • Familiarity with model optimization techniques, including model quantization, pruning, dynamic computational graph, etc, is desirable.
  • Familiar with OSes(Windows, Linux),  x86 system, AMD APU/CPU/GPU products, different industry interfaces (PCIE, USB, Memory, Display, etc), Gaming, status and trend of market and sensitive to the requirement or changes of market requirement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and a spirit of teamwork.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS-EE / BS-CE with 10+ years directly related experience. An advanced degree will be a plus.
