THE PERSON: This AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) team is looking for a senior level person that can help guide the team, mentor upcoming developers, provide long range strategy, and is willing to jump in to help resolve issues quickly. You will be involved in all areas that impact the team including performance, automation, and development. The right candidate will be informed on the latest trends and become prepared to give consultative direction to senior management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand design architecture and deliver a coherent roadmap for analytics solutions to enhance engineering execution and product delivery. Combination of logical thinking, predictive analytics to make recommendations that will solve problems. Think critically about what data should be collected the implications of the data collected. Proven record of accomplishment of working within and across groups. Excellent communication skills REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Expertise in SQL Expertise in Data Visualization tools – Power BI or Tableau Solid programming skills in Python, R and C++ Attention to detail PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in analytics implementation in a high performance CPU/GPU environment Experience in high volume manufacturing Experience in data wrangling/ETL (Data cleaning, transformation, integration) Experience in ML and LLMs and their applicability in semiconductor design ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field #LI-AG1 #LI-HYBRID At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
