Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.
We are looking for a Solutions Lead to understand client’s use cases at their facilities, document these use cases, present these use cases to Figure engineers, and help build a concept of operations for that use case.
Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to understand their use cases (tasks being done currently by humans in the customer’s site)
- Most often, these are use cases in the logistics or manufacturing sector (such as sheet metal welding, depalletization, pick & place, etc.)
- Organize and document all facets of this use case into clear, digestible materials for the rest of Figure’s employees
- Explain and present this use case to other Figure employees (Safety, Engineering, Integration, etc.) and answer all questions
- Coordinate with customer to gather information on the use case
- Help build a concept of operations for how our humanoid robot will execute this use case (charging, maintenance, electronic communication, etc.)
- Travel to customer site
Requirements:
- 2-5 years in factory, logistics operations
- 2-5 years in consulting, banking, or other client facing role
- Experience understanding use cases for logistics, manufacturing or other factory application
- Experience improving these use cases in factory setting
- Highly organized
- Great communicator
- Strong attention to detail
- Understands client management
- Must have presentation skills (powerpoint, excel, etc.)
Bonus Qualifications:
- Understanding of CAD
- Understanding of simulation work
- Understanding of robot process integration (fleet management, IT, etc)
