Role
As the Solutions Product Manager for Electronics Manufacturing, you will collaborate with strategic partners, fellow product managers, and engineers to redefine which challenges in electronics manufacturing can be solved both economically and technically through automation. You will lead the development of a clear and compelling vision for the electronics factory of the future and drive a roadmap for scalable robotics solutions that leverage the unique capabilities of the Intrinsic Software Platform. In this role, you’ll work alongside talented and creative individuals who are engaged in highly ambitious projects. You will be at the forefront of our mission to help the world reimagine what robots can do—and who gets to use them.
How your work moves the mission forward
- Define a strategic vision for the Electronics Factory of the future and the role of automation within it.
- Identify scalable robotic automation solutions that align well with the Intrinsic platform.
- Translate this vision and identified solutions into a comprehensive development roadmap.
- Scope requirements and solution concepts, and partner with other product managers and engineering teams for planning and execution.
- Advocate for our customers by understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to deliver unique value through innovative robotic solutions.
- Brief executives and evangelize the value of our solutions at both internal and external events.
Skills you will need to be successful
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven success as a product or project manager in a manufacturing role, preferably within electronics manufacturing.
- Deep industry knowledge of electronics manufacturing practices and existing automation solutions.
- Experience applying a product mindset to automation challenges, enabling solution reuse across different applications.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively engage with executives, customers, and peers.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate a shared vision for strategic collaborations and translate that vision into an actionable roadmap.
- Ability and willingness to travel to Asia approximately 10–15% of the time (1–2 trips per quarter).
Skills that will differentiate your candidacy
- M.B.A., M.S., or Ph.D. in Engineering
- Experience developing modular, scalable automation solutions
- Familiarity with cloud and edge IT systems
- Knowledge of Factory Management software and enterprise IT systems such as MES and ERP
- Experience leading projects with significant research and development components
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $156,000 - $221,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
