We're looking for a talented Product & Research Sourcer to join our growing talent team and help us identify exceptional engineers, researchers, product managers, and designers who will build the future of AI-powered creative tools. In this highly strategic role, you'll develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines across our technical and product organizations.
You should be hyper excited about AI and exceptionally curious; be a 1% able people-person and able to own a mission-critical workstream for Luma as a company.
What You'll Do
Implement multi-channel sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates with expertise in AI research, software engineering, product development, and designBuild and nurture talent pools for both immediate needs and future growth across research and product teamsLeverage innovative approaches including GitHub mining, academic paper analysis, boolean string creation, and targeted community engagementPartner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand detailed requirements for roles in multimodal AI, computer vision, frontend/backend engineering, and product designCreate compelling outreach messaging that effectively communicates Luma AI's mission and opportunities to passive candidatesTrack sourcing metrics and continuously optimize strategies to improve candidate quality and conversion ratesResearch and implement new sourcing tools and techniques to maintain competitive advantage in talent acquisitionBuild diverse talent pipelines by identifying candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences,
What We're Looking For
3+ years of technical sourcing experience, preferably in AI, ML, or creative technology companiesProven track record of identifying and engaging passive candidates for technical and product rolesStrong understanding of technical concepts in software engineering, AI/ML, and product developmentExceptional research skills and ability to identify relevant candidates from non-traditional sourcesExperience with advanced Boolean search techniques and sourcing platformsData-driven approach to measuring sourcing effectiveness and pipeline qualityExcellent written communication skills for crafting personalized, compelling outreachExperience with modern ATS systems (Ashby preferred) and tools like Seekout, Juicebox, Zapier/Make, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar platforms
